It never swims in a straight line.
Fomosquidow appeared in the blue hour between two ripples. Nobody saw it arrive. The only clue was a tiny white mark glowing where a face should be.
It circles bright things, hides behind dark water, and moves closer whenever someone says they are definitely not curious.
